Meet our Founders
Faith Kowitz
Faith is an avid student who is horse-crazy. She has always had a passion for kids and the less fortunate. She finds that she shares the pain of being abandoned; because as a child, she was put up for adoption by her family and lived in the foster care system for seven years. Although she was blessed with several great foster care parents, Faith found something was missing from her life. Even as a child, she knew that a child had the right to feel wanted and appreciated. With Teens for Kids, Faith wants her love to be shared with those whom she most closely relates to. She asks that you join her in her quest to spread love and awareness the needs of children.
Ava is an outgoing, inquisitive student. She has experienced being in an orphanage and knows what it was like to be alone. She has four older adoptive siblings, but adores little children. She has had the opportunity to work with younger kids for the last two summers at various camps. Ava has a heart as deep as a well for the youth and animals. She started this cause because she wanted children to know that they are not alone in this world and should be able experience the much needed love that she once lacked.
